The Addison

Boca Raton, FL

One of our favorite wedding venues in South Florida is the Addison of Boca Raton.

With its neutral color schemes and gorgeous natural lighting, the Addison is any bride’s dream wedding venue. Not only have we shot numerous client weddings at the Addison, but several of our family members chose the Addison as their dream wedding venue, and it’s become a family favorite.

Info

History of The Addison

Built in 1926, the Addison was originally the office of esteemed architect Addison Mizner. Mizner used the Addison as the office for his company, Mizner Development Corporation. The Addison was one of Mizner’s proudest achievements and it served as an impressive example of his architecture to all prospective clients.

The venue itself has a European flair as it is actually modeled after the home of the Spanish painter, El Gregor.

Services & Amenities

The Addison wedding staff takes the stress of planning and preparing a wedding off of your shoulders. They provide you with everything you could possibly need for your party, including chairs, silverware/glassware, outdoor lighting, a piano, security, a podium/stage, and even a day-of coordinator to run your wedding day without a hitch.

In addition to being known as one of the premier wedding venues in South Florida, the Addison also has a five-star restaurant that caters for weddings and events. In fact, the outstanding cuisine is one of the main reasons why many of our photographers chose The Addison as their own wedding venue. Each menu is personalized, and they are also equipped to cater multicultural events and weddings such as, Indian weddings and Glatt Kosher.

As an added bonus, they also offer unlimited non-alcoholic beverages for all of your guests.

Their cuisine is truly a family favorite as many of our staff have celebrated baptisms, first communion, birthdays, anniversaries, and more at the Addison.

Ceremony & Reception Locations

The Addison wedding venue offers a variety of ceremony and reception locations both indoors and outdoors. They have five ceremony locations; The Mizner Ballroom, The Courtyard, the Solano Ballroom, the Lounge, and the Banyan Ballroom. They offer spaces and packages to accommodate grand wedding parties of 300 guests as well as intimate gatherings of family and friends.

The Courtyard is one of the most popular ceremony locations among brides with the 100-year-old banyan trees creating an intimate atmosphere for any size wedding.

In addition to their incredible ceremony locations, they also offer several reception locations. The Main Dining Room and The Club Room serve as ideal wedding reception rooms for larger parties while the Adios Room and Terrace, and the Fountain Room are fantastic for more private receptions.

Our photographers Mario and Armando both chose to have their wedding ceremony in the courtyard and the reception in the dining room.

We can attest that the Addison is a magical place where dreams really do come true. Not only is it one of the most stunning locations in South Florida, but the food is unparalleled, the staff becomes family and every bride’s dream is surpassed.
